Minimum order: Custom orders require one dozen (12 cookies) minimum. Each dozen includes 3–4 designs or colors.
Deposit & payment: A 50% deposit reserves your event date — your date isn't held until it's received. The balance is due at pickup or delivery. Venmo, Zelle (on invoice), and cash accepted.
Cancellations & refunds: Cancel at least 14 days before pickup/delivery and you forfeit the deposit, but any further payments are refunded. Cancel 7–14 days before and no refund is available, though the order may be postponed if availability permits. Cancel less than 7 days before and the order isn't eligible for a refund or postponement — you may instead have Sugar & Scrubs donate it to a place of our choosing.
Timing: Orders need at least 7 days notice and are booked up to 3 months out. Orders placed within 7 days of the event are subject to a $10 rush fee, based on availability.
Order changes: Changes to design, quantity, theme, shapes, or flavors must be requested at least 14 days before the event date. Additional charges may apply.
Photos, logos & inspiration: You confirm you have permission to use any photos, logos, or artwork submitted for edible printing, and you're responsible for reviewing spelling, dates, and design details before production. All custom orders are subject to the Sugar & Scrubs design aesthetic — no inspiration photo will be perfectly copied from another artist.
Colors & sizing: Colors may vary slightly due to edible inks and icing, and cookies in photos may not be true to size. Regular cookies average 3–4 inches.
Storage: Cookies are individually heat-sealed for freshness. Store in an airtight container and do not refrigerate. They freeze well for 3–6 months — thaw on the counter, untouched, for about 3 hours.
Storage & handling: Once your order is picked up or delivered, keep them safe, secure, and away from heat. Sugar & Scrubs cannot be held responsible for cookies that are damaged after they leave our possession.
Cottage food laws: This order has been made in a home kitchen not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or local health department. Our kitchen is not nut free, egg free, dairy free, or gluten free. Boring disclaimer, but we have to say it per the law.
